Portable Stackable Food-grade plastic 5-gallon water storage containers are available in a 4-pack, providing approximately 20 gallons of total capacity. These industrial-grade containers, manufactured by the reputable Samson Stackers brand and made in the USA by API/Kirk, are commonly used by manufacturers and packagers to ship a variety of materials and food products.

Each container measures approximately 11.25" x 10" x 14.25" tall, with the top engaging the bottom of a stacked container by around 1/4 inch, enabling convenient vertical stacking. The High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE) material used is a preferred polymer, providing assurance that the containers are BPA-free, as HDPE is not a candidate for BPA. The resin is USA-sourced and FDA-compliant, meeting the 'food grade' standard.

The containers come equipped with several accessories. Each unit includes a factory-installed dust plug that can be discarded when ready for use. Additionally, a gasketed cap with Rieke (TM) style exterior geometry is provided, featuring a tamper-evident lock ring that will break away after the first use. The caps are center-threaded 3/4" NPT and have a membrane that can be cut away to accommodate a spigot. Each kit includes one spigot and one wrench to fit the caps.

For optimal water flow, the vent cap can be removed, and the vent pierced. While the side walls may not be entirely flat, with some curvature being common, the containers are generally rectangular in shape. Users are advised to stack the containers no more than two or three high, subject to personal judgment and safety considerations.
